Beca AMEC is a multi-disciplinary organisation with a depth of experience and a breadth of specialised expertise in the pulp and paper industry, involving more than 80 people from our Tauranga, Auckland and Melbourne offices. About 25 staff work on the Kawerau site of Norske Skog Tasman and Carter Holt Harvey Tasman.
Beca AMEC has the capacity to execute a wide variety of pulp and paper projects. Examples are environmental studies, feasibility studies, performance analysis, process design, detail design, equipment procurement, operator training, commissioning, operations and startup assistance. Beca AMEC has a reputation for cost effective design and timely execution of projects. North American-based parent company AMEC adds valuable expertise to many of Beca AMEC's pulp and paper projects.
